Starved Rock Country Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving and maintaining the quality of life for residents in and around LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam counties in Illinois. Through the generosity of our donors who support our mission to connect people who care with causes that matter, SRCCF has received more than $6.1 million in total contributions and has distributed $3.01 million through over 200 grants to charitable organizations, scholarships and disaster relief funds.

Melissa Caulkins Crank announced April 2, 2025 that because the supporters of the Logan’s Oasis Initiative have raised more than half the funds to build the playground, they are making a deposit to lock in the prices to secure their chosen equipment.
Greetings from the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation. Here we are, right in the middle of another tax season. The years go by so quickly! Since 2015, SRCCF has championed the arts, education, entrepreneurship, preservation, the environment, physical and mental health, humanities, human services, and disaster relief.

The Mendota Historical Society has announced the creation of a lifetime endowment fund as a permanent resource to help ensure the Society has adequate resources to deliver high quality programs and exhibitions to the Mendota community.
Established in October 2015, the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation makes it possible for non-profit and charitable organizations in the area to benefit from the generosity of the community as a whole.
Far beyond the scope of mainstream philanthropy, ELEV̅ATE is a collaborative participatory giving circle approach to philanthropy established to bring together members of our community to collectively support the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation.
The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation (SRCCF) is honored to receive state approval as a Qualified Community Foundation (QCF) for the new Illinois Gives initiative. Illinois Gives will incentivize up to $100 million in new charitable giving over the next 5 years by authorizing a 25% state income tax credit for charitable donations to eligible permanent endowments held by the SRCCF and is being administered by Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR).
